If you just purchased a hot tub or are considering the purchase of Lowe’s hot tubs, then there are some technical aspects you will want to acknowledge. The downside to the 110 volt Lowe’s hot tubs is that they fail to keep the water hot in really cold climates if being used for hours. But the 110 volt Island Escape hot tubs and Balboaspas tend to be less expensive since you don’t have to alter your home outlets. On the other hand, the 220 volt Lowe’s hot tubs tend to be more expensive because it is possible you may have to go through the trouble of having a technician come out and install the new outlet and go through the process of getting permits passed to make sure it is allowed. But these Lowe’s hot tubs are nice because they can keep the water very hot, even if the temperature outside is below freezing.
