Synthetic Plastic Shell (Colors B and C)
Instead of pine wood from Finland, you have a choice of choosing a synthetic plastic hot tub shell for very little extra. Colors B and C are automatically the synthetic material. Synthetic plastic hot tub shells are starting to become the standard of the hot tub industry because in the past wood has had problems with warping, or rotting over time. Although wood, if taken care of and treated with weather coating from time to time, will probably last a lifetime as well. Some people just like wood anyway because of its smell and texture. The synthetic plastic shells are also more resistant to color fading, and overall are a more popular choice of our hot tub customers. The plastic material turns out to be more expensive than wood, but is a more earth friendly solution.

Thermal Spa Cover & Exterior Steps – Customized for Island Escape Spas models. Thermal Spa Covers conserve energy by retaining heat and keep your hot tub clean by protecting against bacteria. They also provide safety by preventing children and pets from accidentally falling into your hot tub when it is not in use and unattended. Exterior hot tub steps are very convenient because they help both adults and supervised children get into your hot tub.

Low Energy Consumption Pump – Get the benefit of a lower energy bill and eco-friendly hot tub. Creating the circulation required to filter and heat the water of a spa can basically be accomplished in two ways. Standard models include a regular hot tub speed pump that doubles as both the circulation pump and the jet pump. The hot tub pump will operate on a low speed to provide whirlpool action to the hot tub jets. The Low Energy Consumption circulation pump is a much more efficient method, as it is a separate low amperage circulation pump dedicated solely to this function. By not using one pump to do two jobs, the spa incorporates a very high flow, low energy consuming hot tub pump that will use less energy running 24 hours a day than a regular hot tub pump operating for a fraction of the day. The result is a constant 24 hour hot tub filtration with more total gallons filtered and less energy consumed.
Foam Insulation – This option essentially will tell the manufacturer to pack foam all through the hot tub cabinet interior to give the hot tub super insulation. It will help you save power and energy. The reason why we don’t include it as a standard is because it makes the hot tub harder to work on by a technician if later on after several years, someone needs to look under the hood. On the other hand, you get lower power bills till then. Your choice. At this time, we don’ t know exactly how much monetarily this option will save you in power.
Enchanting Waterfall Streams – These hot tub waterfall streams shoot out from the base of the hot tub and create a soothing waterfall effect that dances over the water. Water streams are equipped with color changing effects and enhance the ambiance of the hot tub.
Perimeter LED Lighting System – a multitude of LED hot tub bulbs which can change colors continuously, fading from one color to the next, under your total control. Or set to one color of your choice. Creating the ultimate hot tub atmosphere & adding extra safety to your spa, this hot tub lighting option is available on all Island Escape spas.

Structure
Steel Integrity Hot Tub Frame - The most often overlooked part of a spa during the purchasing decision is the structure, yet this is the most intricate part of the spa carrying the weight of thousands of pounds of water and people. All Island Escape spas are supported by an industrial strength gauge welded tubular frame capable of supporting up to 8 times the load of the hot tub, water, and people.
Exterior Cabinet - Depending on which color you choose you either get a high quality synthetic cabinet, or a cabinet made out of real pine wood from Finland. The carefully engineered, synthetic cabinet is made to look and feel like real quality finished wood without the shortcomings of real wood, such as warping, fading and the constant need for maintenance.
Ozone Oxidation System - oxidizes contaminants for reduced chemical use and sparkling clean water. The ozone system passes air molecules through the ozonator, breaking them down and recombining them to create 03 or ozone. The ozone then oxidizes bacteria and contaminants, leaving the hot tub sanitizer free to set up a defense against other, new contaminants entering the spa. Good to turn on for just a half an hour before you enjoy your spa to enjoy cleaner, purer water.
